Lucy: The Stolen Lives of Elephants is the FIRST documentary film to reveal the plight of elephants in captivity and investigate the lies that zoos tell the unknowing public under the guise of wildlife conservation and education.
At the heart of the film is Lucy, Edmonton Valley Zoo's lone and ailing 49-year-old elephant and the people fighting to send her to a sanctuary in California, where she can live for the first time in decades with the company of other elephants.
